Day 6, Bilbao

“If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit.” — Banksy

I woke up and went straight to the laundromat. It feels so good to have clean, dry clothes! My pants are stained with mud, but they’re clean.

The only shoes I have besides my hiking shoes are my Tevas, so I’m the picture of style as I set out in the metropolitan city of Bilbao. Mud stained paints, tee, Patagonia jacket and tevas with socks. (It’s cold). I’m so stylish.

The Guggenheim did not disappoint. The whole area was bustling and while in the Guggenheim I ran into Ana…, Bernard and Bernard’s wife, Adrianna who had just joined him. Maybe this rest day won’t separate me from as many people as I thought. Seems that many have decided to do the same.

It was a good day of rest and touring Bilbao. Art museums, markets and of course laundromats!
